Supreme Court settles long-running divorce case

The Illinois Supreme Court has handed down a precedent-setting decision in a high-profile Chicago divorce case.
Chicago businessman David Heroy was ordered to pay his ex-wife, Donna Tuke, the $27,500 in spousal support that a lower court ordered him to pay. He must also pay Tuke $160,000 for her attorneys’ fees–which is what has divorce attorneys across the state fired up.
