Business exec pilots a program for teens

You could say Steve Davis’s thoughts are in the clouds.
He’s working toward his pilot’s license, he’s chairman of the DuPage Airport Authority and he’s founder of Tuskegee NEXT, a nonprofit that trains young people from under-served communities to become pilots.
Tuskegee NEXT trains about 10 young people in each 12-week session, but it needs funding to keep up that pace.
Read how Davis got his inspiration in my Taking Names column in the Chicago Sun-Times.
