Tickled pink about Bright Pink’s new CEO
April 26th, 2017
Bright Pink, which works to teach women the facts about breast and ovarian cancer, has hired Katie Thiede, vice president of development at Planned Parenthood of Illinois, as its new CEO.
She replaces Bright Pink founder and current CEO Lindsay Avner, who becomes board chairman of the organization.
Thiede starts May 8. Avner couldn’t be more pleased. Read her comments in my Taking Names column in the Chicago Sun-Times.
