Obama looking at Martha’s Vineyard for vacation home
September 6th, 2017
President Barack Obama and his family are keeping stakes in Chicago but they may be looking to buy a vacation home in Martha’s Vineyard.
According to the Boston Globe, the former first family is looking to buy “a place of their own on the island,” having rented there for numerous years. They’re looking at a property that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and is owned by Caroline Kennedy and her husband, Edwin Schlossberg, the paper said.
The Obamas would join a long list of celebrities who make the East Coast island a home away form home, including Chicago-area native and actor Bill Murray, who was Obama’s golf partner at the recent Farm Neck Golf Club, according to the Globe.
