May 13th, 2017
William Ziegelmueller has joined Schiff Hardin law firm as a partner in its litigation practice.
Ziegelmueller’s name doesn’t roll off the tongue, but his client list does.
Antoin “Tony” Rezko, an adviser (political fixer) to former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, in a three-month trial in Chicago. Rezko served time after being found guilty of corruption.
Ziegelmueller is leaving the Stetler, Duffy & Rotert boutique litigation firm. He’s been described as defending clients involved in investigations and enforcement actions conducted by an alphabet soup list of government and regulatory agences, including SEC, IRS, CFTC, OCC, ICE, FDA, USDA.
